I photograph people in the places that shape them: communities, workplaces, domestic spaces, built environments.
My interest is in belonging, identity, and the structures of ordinary life that mostly go unnoticed. I return to the same locations over time. Place is part of the portrait, not a backdrop.
I'm drawn to spaces with accumulated life, workshops, community buildings, working landscapes, domestic interiors, and to the people whose sense of self is tied to where they are.
I've studied and worked within marketing and branding. That background matters practically to understand how images will be used, what a sign-off process looks like and why a brief sometimes needs interrogating before it needs executing. I name risks early, hold scope, and am comfortable working with organisations that have multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
I am based in Sheffield and work across the UK.

I also write In Common, a Substack about place, work, and the small details that shape how we live. It’s where I share edited reflections from ongoing projects about the choices and the meaning behind the images.
